Hand and Wrist Exercises for Jewellers
In the world of jewellery-making, the meticulous precision, creativity and artistry of the hands that shape and create are an often overlooked but crucial element.
For jewellers, hand, wrist, and finger mobility and strength aren’t just vital tools, but the heart and soul of jewellery making! As any jeweller knows, the hands are not immune to the strains and challenges of the craft. In this video, we are delving into why maintaining the health and agility of your wrist and hands are essential to anyone who relies on their hands in their daily work AND how you can aide this process with simple but effective movements to prime and prep your hands and wrists for making magic happen.
With thanks for writing and creating this (as well as for keeping me in functioning condition) to Melanie Matulka @yogaandmobilitywithmel9117

If you know how to sharpen a drill bit ,, you might be able to get some mediocre results from that ugly lump of garbage that those cheap drillbits are, you might get by. Until they break and you destroy a piece of jewelry. For less headache and heartache, I like the two brands that were pointed out. I've always had great results from them. But, the Jeep shit is more headache and more hassle than it will ever be worth.

Love this video. I have foredom hammer as well, you make it look so easy….. My question is regarding the toggle tube component. How do you set the stones on each side of the tubing? I have 3mm bezel caps which I’d like to solder to either side of the tube, the set the stones. What do you think?

I found out quality bits matter greatly.when working with metals. I actually damaged a pearl once i drilled into from cheap bit.either buy quality tools or don't bother working until you do. Sure somethings can be done cheaply. Qualty tools are a guarantee, if you know what your doing will get the work done the first time.

@lucywalker I find it difficult to hold pieces together and also much of the time when I do get them together, they fall apart straight away. I’ve watched many of sunstones videos, but I’m not really getting it. I bought a pair of wedding glasses, but I can’t see how I’d hold the piece and the stylus at the same time. Helppppp.

I have a m pulse. Not as powerful as the 150. But I have been able to tack things to solder. I close jump rings and make loops on wires too. I do wish it would make bigger balls on the end of wire because they are so nice but not big enough.
